Investigative Internships for Undergraduate Students
Our Investigations Unit offers an exciting opportunity for college and university students to serve as investigative interns. As an intern, you will:
- Shadow investigators in their daily duties
- Assist with witness interviews
- Review evidence
- Observe meetings between clients and attorneys
- Attend court proceedings when appropriate
The goal is to give you an in-depth understanding of how our investigators work to protect our clients’ constitutional rights. You may also be tasked with:
- Gathering records
- Obtaining releases of information
- Watching body camera footage
- Reviewing police reports
- Providing any other necessary support to ensure exceptional service to our clients

Suggested Application Times
- Spring Internship – November of the preceding year.
- Summer Internship – February of the same year.
- Fall Internship – July of the same year.
