Expungement Clinic

The Ventura County Public Defenders’ office, as part of the Swap Meet Justice, is hosting a free expungement clinic at the Oxnard College Swap Meet every last Sunday of the month! Please share! We are located near the gym.

• Volunteer attorneys from the Public Defenders’ office will help applicants dismiss misdemeanors convictions that are eligible for mandatory expungement without a hearing. 
• For issues that require a hearing, such as certain felonies that can qualify for reductions, they will explain the process of getting the matter referred to the Public Defenders office. 
• Don’t know which category you’re in? Have specific questions? Come and ask all your questions!
• There will also be (also FREE) immigration attorneys to offer advice about how a criminal record might affect your immigration status.
