Student Intern Program

The Ventura County Public Defender’s Office is committed to providing equal justice to the indigent community. We are seeking students interested in advocating for our vulnerable and indigent population by providing clients with the dignity they deserve through zealous representation.

The Ventura County Public Defender’s Office offers several opportunities for law students and college students to gain knowledge and practical experience through our internship program. Partnering directly with skilled attorneys and investigators, our interns get an inside look into the criminal justice system and criminal defense litigation.
